Governor's Proclamation Effective 3/17/2020
Posted on 03/16/2020

This morning, Governor Jay Inslee announced that restaurants, bars, clubs, and other recreational facilities are to close in order to avoid unnecessary interactions with crowds during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Governor’s proclamation will take effect at 12 a.m. midnight (3/17/20) but BFHD recommends that these facilities begin the transition immediately to avoid further spread of COVID-19. During this time, restaurants may remain open for takeout and delivery services. The Washington State Department of Health is actively working to determine details of this new restriction, and we will notify our restaurant community as soon as we are updated.

Businesses that may be impacted by the COVID-19 situation can go to the Office of the Washington Governor’s webpage to access available resources.
